Cpu holemount

Hi i currently have 775 q6600 im thinking of going to i5 1155. Are the motherboard holemounts the same to allow me to use existing waterblock.

If you look at the waterblock in question it will tell you which sockets are compatible, just run a quick google on it.

As above, depending on which waterblock you have is whether it will natively fit the new motherboard.
To answer your question, they have the same type of mounting system ie holes in the motherboard but.... they are spaced slightly further apart on the 1155 compared to the 775.
