I have upgraded my CPU, it is all compatible with the motherboard, there is no other problem. I have re put my old CPU in and it works fine, only the new CPU is not working, the PC boots, everything comes on, fans spinning, power to the motherboard, ive cleared the CMOS and updated the BIOS, no display on my monitor with the new CPU, old one works fine, please help!

Motherboard: ASUS H110M-D D3
Old CPU: Intel i5-6400
New CPU: Intel i7-6700K Skylake
GPU: GeForce GTX 1060 6GB OC

I have got my old CPU in right now and it works fine. As soon as I put the new CPU in, the PC boots, power light on the Motherboard is on and fine, CPU fan and case fans on, no display at all on any monitor, tried 3 different, DisplayPort, HDMI, VGA

Which CPUs?
Which motherboard?
Are you using onboard graphics? If you are does the new CPU have onboard graphics?

Also, with the old CPU in my Keyboard and Mouse comes on and I know it’s booting up and fine, with my new CPU in, it doesn’t do that and no display whatsoever even though the motherboard is getting power and CPU fan is spinning

It powering up as you describe doesn't mean it's working.

Do you have a speaker attached to hear any beep error codes as it tries to boot?

Do you know the CPU is okay? Did it come new from a reputable source (don't break the forum rules my mentioning OcUK's competitors)?

I do not have any speakers at all to hear any codes, and this is from Overclockers UK official site, I got it today in the mail

As we speak. I put in the old CPU and it all works absolutely perfectly, then I try to put the new CPU in and nothing. it all boots, physically and i can hear all the sounds, the cpu fan spinning, everything, but no usb hubs working since keyboard and mouse doesn’t come on, and nothing on any of my 3 monitors

I'd contact OcUK by opening a customer service thread or by calling them tomorrow.

Avoid swapping CPUs too much, it doesn't take much to slip and knacker the socket.

Yes, I will call them tomorrow. I have only done it 2 times just to confirm it is a problem with the CPU and not anything else

According to the Asus site the i5-6400 and the i7-6700K both require the same BIOS release so that shouldn't be an issue.

They both require 0401 and I have the latest which is 2604. So I am very confused at what’s going on... literally no clue and I give up at this point. Gonna give them a call in the morning, thank you for all the replies and the help.
