The past few days iv'e been finding my pc to be running randomly slow at times and none more so with certain games. With Torchlight 2 I got a constant 60fps (vsync) and the same also with dayz but now i'm going as low as 22fps with Torchlight 2 and 25fps with dayz and I know these are cpu intensive games.
At first I thought it was my gpu so done a driver sweep, reinstalled driver (320) and tried other games such as bf3 etc and got a constant 60, tried Torchlight 2 and dayz again to find the same problem. Ran 3dmark11 and all the graphical tests were fine but the cpu benchmark would not go above 4fps and cpu temp didn't go above 43c, I was getting 22fps before this problem
Tried this running at stock speed and settings also to no avail. Possible cpu issue? A tad pee'd off to say the least.
When running prime95 and intel burn test on the highest stress tests the temp never exceeds 53c and the max tdp is 48w, should it be hitting the cpu's maximum tps of 77w?
