CPU & memory showing wrong speed

Hi guys,

I was hoping somebody could help out with this problem...

Current Spec:
XP64 Pro
Asus P5W DH Deluxe
Core Duo E6600
Corsair 4GB DDR2 XMS2 PC2-6400C5 TwinX (2x2GB)

When I start my comp I get the following "American Megatrends" screen which shows my memory and cpu at slower speeds:

I'm don't know much about overclocking but i'm guessing the speeds are related e.g. slower memory causing slower cpu??

Can anybody point me in the direction of how to solve this?

Hi guys,

Thanks for the replies.

My FSB was already showing as 266. I changed the memory to 800mhz as it was on auto and it is now showing correctly as PC2-6400.

The CPU is still showing as 2.13 though, any ideas?

Hi hterag,

The multiplier was showing as 9, I changed it to the manual setting and set it to 9 and my cpu is now showing at the correct speed! Nice one!
