Hi all,

I've reviewed the sticky regarding spec suggestions. From that I've ended up at the spec below :

Does it seem reasonable? Are all the bits compatiable? Any known issues? Any suggestions for replacements? Budget is £425.

I don't want OCZ ram due to horrible experiences with it in the past.

I'm planning on powering this using a Seasonic S12-430 . I know it's a tad old but it's good quality. Ok?

Edit: I should probably say that I use it for playing games and a bit of word processing. No compiling/rendering etc.

Thanks in advance.

Great. Thanks for the info. Shame they aren't £120 like they used to be :-) Is the motherboard I picked suitable for overclocking or is the P5Q-pro a better bet?

Cheers

the Gigabyte GA-EP43C-DS3 Intel P43 is a ok little board, not the best not the worst. you should see a decent OC ability on it.

Thanks for tanking the time to reply. I had spec'd the EP45-DS3 not the EP43C. Apart from the obvious chipset difference is there any reason for me to opt for the EP43C over the EP45?

And thanks for Cristi for confirming the PSU.
