I have an alienware Aurora R3, (that I paid half of it's RRP for).

I recently upgraded my RAM and installed an SSD, along with a fresh reintstall of Windows 7.

The first attempt at the fresh install and my CPU was running at about 40-50% idle, and a lot of "svchost" were visible in the task manager with no sign of a virus or malware.

Second attempt at reinstall and my Motherboard and CPU (particularly Mobo) are running at about 40 degrees and 50-60 degrees respectively and the MoBo runs at about 80 degrees when playing BF4  . Very high considered they used to be about 20 degrees cooler.

I have an i52500k that is running at 3.3Ghz, (altough when I look at it's stats it seems to be running at almost 4Ghz with a multplier of about 39 -but thats an issue for another day)

The RAM is Kingston HyperX (2x8GB) running at 1600Mhz
The SSD is a Samsung 840 EVO 256GB.

I have no idea why it's suddenly increased but think it may have something to do with the RAM.

I'm not currently on my comp so I dont know the exact model of the mobo but I do know it has a p67 Chipset.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
