CPU ms spikes in game

So I have had an fps stuttering problem when playing games, I had a technician remote access my pc and he ran some tests and narrowed it down to either my m.2 or my power supply as my m.2 was reading 6,600 mbs and writing 2,500 ish. He requested I take out my graphics card and unscrew the protector to take a picture of the seriel number for the m.2 to have it replaced. When I put the pc back together and loaded up path of exile I am now getting constant cpu ms spikes and some gpu ms spikes aswell. Can someone help with this as to why this is happening all of a sudden?

Have you also checked the temps you're getting?

Some games have frame time spikes due to the game engine loading shaders, new assets etc.

Borderlands 3 is a classic example of a game that has major frame time spikes.

Have you tried capping your frame rate to say 60fps with the likes of Rivatuner?

is ur mouse set to poll rate of 1000 if so try 500 or 250, it helped me with gta 5 at least and x4 foundations a bit.

So did the technician not explain why the m.2 drive needs to be replaced?

If its close to failing then you would get issues reading/writing from the m.2 drive that could be causing the problems you have.
