CPU multiplier, FSB or both?

Hello

Newbie here.

I have not done any overclocking in well over a decade and I am well out of touch. Even back in the day, my expertise was in cooling, not clocking...

Anyway, I have been reading guides and watching guff on youtube and I am confident in what I am doing, apart from one little thing.

Is it best to

A: Just clock it using the multiplier only (and a bit of voltage)
B: Just clock it using the FSB only (and a bit of voltage)
C: A Mixture of both.
D: Something else

Currently all I have done is knocked it from 3.4 to 3.8 using the multiplier (no increase in voltage). This is probably not the best setting (hence the post).

My setup.

Phenom II 965BE
ASUS M4A77TD
ASUS 6770
Corsair 650 watt PSU
Zalman 9500 CPU cooler
Lian-Li PC60 case with lots of extra fannage (made up word)

Many thanks
