asus tuf b450 with 2400G.. was working fine, took it to my mates to update his bios so his 3600x would work, i managed to bend some pins on my cpu but got them all back perfect. my pc will no longer boot with the 2400g, so took it back to my mates and it works in his board!. i thought my MB must be broke, but then his 3600X works in my board? how do you detect a fault when both items work, just not together any more, both items still have warranty but which do i send back, any ideas on what to try

picked up an athlon 3000g. onboard gpu now working, but only if i use DVID, if i use hdmi the screen goes blank after it starts to load windows, switch to dvid and itll come on, but my M2 sata no longer shows up, had to nab ssd from another pc.
have tried the 2400g again and nothing. im going to get my mate to test my M2 in his board and my cpu in his board again also, if these both work if must be the board. i have a gpu in myn i have tried using as the output but nothing. board still has warranty and isnt to far away, but im not sure with covid they are still open to the public and doing testing.
i wonder if the 3600x works in my board because the cpu pins in the socket arnt been used as it doesnt have a gpu? but then it doesnt explain why this athlon 3000g works

ok so i took the cpu back to my mates again, no longer working in his system either. my m2 is NVME and the athlon 3000g dose not support this from what i can see online, must be the case as i took it to my mates and it is seen by his system.

Have a look at the pins again see if any are missing take a photo and upload it if you can
no missing pins, thy didnt even bend properly, just sort of a slight tilt to them, you cant tell they was ever bent
Start a rma through amd mate or the shop you got it from youll need serial number for amd
place i got if from claims to do a 48 hr turn around, sort of like an RMA centre for some partners , problem is that they no longer make this cpu, or have the 3400g in stock as the next one up. but i will take it to the shop inaway so then i 100% know from there testing its knackered.
