i have currently purchased a opteron 146 and is replacing my 3500 winnie, now i simply took out my winnie and replaced it with my opteron now when i turn the computer on the screen does not even turn on so i put my winnie back in and the screen turns on but is sayin that it has a different setting for another cpu in it. i have tried clearing CMOS before and after installing the opteron but no such luck at all, i have a ASUS A8R-MPV motherboard and have stripped down the machine to one stick of memory,gfx card and sata HD and i know definatly that all this parts work fine. any help is much appriceated thankyou
