CPU not showing full speed

as you can see from the results my cpu is not running at the correct speed,ive updated the BIOS to the latest version and its still showing 2ghz.i have not touched any other setting in the bios or tried to oc as i dont have a clue about those things any help would be appreciated

I can only guess that the multiplier needs to be 7 as that gives 2.33GHz. It is strange how it is not defaulting to it though. Try turning up the multiplier to 7 in the BIOS :)

/facepalm I forgot about speedstep! :p Cue the sad horns! :rolleyes:

wish i had a pound for everytime someone asked that question :D

well not being iin the know about these things i was told this place and its commuinity was a good place to start lol will try the above fix and report back,just i am not really into ******* about with my bios,with not knowing about stuff like that
