Hi,

I have a Intel core 2 Duo E6600 and when I right click on my computer it shows up as the following www.vc54321.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/cpu.bmp
.
Can anyone tell me what to do or change to get it showing the right thing.
I have not tried to overclock so my settings in bios are all as standard/auto.
When I start up the computer it says it is 2.4ghz
I am using a asus p5n-e sli motherboard if that helps

Thank you

Vinny

Sounds like you have the CPU EIST (i think thats the one) on in the BIOS, which downclocks the CPU when your not doing anything, like browsing the web etc... but when you start gaming etc... it will clock it back up to its full speeds.

Your sig is to big btw, 400x75 and less than 20k only is allowed, or 4x lines of text, all in the FAQ. :)
