CPU Or Motherboard Problem ?

Hi guys

I have 2 systems exactly the same, same bios, same bios settings, same drivers same graphic settings etc.

When i launch battlefield bad company 2 on my main pc i get a massive stutter at the start of the round where all the buildings are collapsing when i join a round.

Now when i take my graphic card out and put it in my other system i dont get any stutters its all smooth apart from micro stutter that im suffering from on both systems, hence why im testing parts. Iv ruled out memory because the memory from the other system in my main has no effect at all so i think iv narrowed it down to the motherboard or the CPU.

I think all motherboards are identical so could this be a CPU problem not reading the graphics right ?

Any thoughts would be appreciated

Thanks.

If the systems are identical you should be able to swap the hard drives between them without any serious issues (although I'd image them both first to be safe).

This would allow you to check if there really is a hardware issue.

Im having this problem on my SSD and on my regular HDD so im guessing this would not be HDD related but i could be wrong so i guess anything is worth a try :) will give that a shot later on to narrow it down even more so.

Thanks.

I wasn't really thinking about it as a hdd problem.

If you swap the drives and the problem stays where it is then you'd know it's a hardware issue.

If you swap the drives and the problem follows the drive then this could point to a software/configuration issue.

Well bremen thanks for your advice, looks as though the other HDD is working ok but i do get a stutter later on in the round but not right away like on this HDD so im guessing its software related somewhere, now to try figure this out since its a fresh install :(
