I rebuilt my custom water desktop, having a bit of a nightmare and looking for a little help please

It ran fine for 2 days then this morning I got a Kernel_security_check failure BSOD whilst not doing much

Reboot.. No display though everything powers on

Motherboard: MSI X570 Tomahawk WIFI (I've read a few posts regarding this board and 3000 series nvid gpus combined with 5000 series amd cpus it can cause PCIE slot 1 to render no display)
5950x
3090 x1 (connected to main 16x pcie slot1)
3080fe x1 (connected via riser)
seasonic 1300w

I tried:
clear cmos
re-write cmos
swapping RAM for a complete different set
swapping out PSU for one I know has no issues
removed 3080fe entirely

Now I was stumped so I drained the loop :( and ripped it all out
I then tried putting 3090 in second pcie slot, 3080 in first pcie slot, nothing
I put an old nv gt730 in all slots, nothing

I bought this board as a bundle with a 5800x in full working order, replaced it with a 5950x.
Popped to my friends and borrowed a 3800x and BINGO it springs to life!!

Is the 5950x dead or is the mobo just being retarded with this CPU for some reason? (was fine for 48hrs+ till BSOD today)

Thanks!

Just to add, the 5950x is brand new so has only worked for 2 days before the BSOD

I’m inclined to think that’s the problem right now.

Edit: Yep after much testing the 5950x is certainly dead :( hope RMA is pretty quick only had it a couple days.

Yes, given the results of your swapped cpu, i'd be inclined to say that its the 5950x that it is the issue.

Bummer having had it for only two days. Had you done any benchmarking on the 5950x, just to compare to see if it was ever running at full spec?
