cpu or not to cpu that is the question

I have a chance of picking up one of these 2nd hand with very little use http://processorfinder.intel.com/details.aspx?sSpec=SL9UM (Q6600 B3 stepping)
and how much is it worth please and is it worth changing from my E6850 to the Q6600 as i've been told that the G0 stepping is better than this one.

I wouldn't pay any more than 75 quid for a B3. G0's can be had for about 100 brand new, and they are worth the extra.
