CPU over temperature.

Need Help: Red CPU LED + Extreme Temps on OcUK Gaming Fluorite

Hey all, looking for advice on a weird issue with my OcUK Gaming Fluorite build.

Symptoms
Red CPU LED stays lit on the motherboard
PC gets dangerously hot — fans ramp up and it sounds like it’s about to explode
CPU temps spike to 80–90°C, even with minimal load
Occasionally boots "fine", but the loud whirring and temperature spikes still happen randomly

With it being a OCUK prebuilt guessing it's a AIO cooler, if you've had it a while might have died.

Its brand new i got it July 1st

It may sound silly, but is the protective coating removed off your CPU's heatsink/waterblock -whichever you have?
Is the CPU's heatsink secured down tightly?
Are you CPU's fans plugged in properly on the motherboard?

It was prebuilt so they would have taken off the protective coating? as i havent done that.

These are loose. shall i tighten them? the fans looked plugged in properly.

still the same unfortunately. it’s just turnt off on its own now and made weird clunky noise when I turnt it on.
