Hi, i have a i7 6700k and also 980ti gigabyte g1 gpu, so i have my GPU overclock boost at 1450mhz - memory 7800mhz , power limit 130% ,

with using real bench, with cpu at 4.5ghz manually clocked with multiplier and voltage at 1.33v, i get display driver crash within few minutes of running RealBench, but with no CPU overclock but just GPU overclocked same, i dont get any crashes, i know base clock can effect but thats on stock, even with GPU at stock and CPU overclocked i get display driver crash,

ideally i would like a overclock of 4.5ghz which all 6700k should get on 1.30-1.34 v and GPU at 1450 @ boost , these are not extreme overclocks,

any ideas ?

Thanks

try without mem xmp profile
std cpu mem support
Memory Types DDR4-1866/2133, DDR3L-1333/1600 @ 1.35V

so 3000 is oc'd

thanks will give that ago i did manually set the ram, timings, speed. voltage according to its spec, also noticed a new motherboard bios which will try, just gonna let real bench run for 1hr, with no cpu overclock, just gpu overclocked, usually gets display error crash within few minutes

The GPU driver is one of the most realtime intensive components and a low level part of the system and very susceptible to instability in the rest of the system - often crashing before anything else.

so i set ram on auto which gives it a speed of 2166mhz, and been running Real Bench for 45mins so far no display crashes, usually it would crash within few minutes, this is with cpu overclocked at 4.5ghz

what could i do to try to get ram upto 3000mhz and be stable with the cpu overclock,

ideally i want cpu at 4.5ghz, ram 3000mhz, gpu boost 1450mhz, and slightly increase gpu memory

Thanks

so i been searching and found raising vccio voltage to 1.15v and cpu system agent voltage to 1.15 can go upto 1.25 if needed, just doing a run now been running now 15mins, before would display driver crash within few minutes , fingers crossed

this seemed to have fixed it, then i seen there was a new bios for motherboard, so updated and left the above settings on auto , and overclocked again with 3000mhz memory and done a 1 hr run fine
