Hi, I recently bought BF4 and had numerous crashes. I couldnt find the reason until someone on the Games section said it may be my overclock. I Downclocked it and it still crashed. When i set it back to default, it ran fine. I play a lot of different games and never noticed a crash. Its overclocked to 4.5Ghz at 1.290v. I dont know much about overclocking but i did stress test it for a few hours when i done it. Is there any reason its BSODing my pc ? Im not sure if it needs more voltage, but it seems a little high already.

Thanks

My RAM was at 2400Mhz at 1.65V, i put it down to 1600mhz with the same voltage and it still crashed. Is it maybe something to do with my RAM ?

More vcore please ;)

Gaming is different on ivy,it can pass all CPU stress test and yet crash to desktop with games which needs touch more CPU v to cure it

Check in event viewer for whea warnings/errors parity 19 are the ones to look out for, increase CPU v till there's 0 warnings/errors

Idk it depends on each CPU and sli might play a part also

Your not far away as its pretty stable in windows but could take three or four more clicks CPU v,keep raising it a few clicks then clear the event log and play bf4 for 5minutes then look to see if any new whea warnings/errors crop up,rinse n repeat till there's 0
