CPU overclock no longer showing

I’ve been running my E2180 at 2.8 GHz for a month now on stock volts with no problem. I’ve come home tonight and booted up and my overclock is no longer showing. It is showing in BIOS but vista and cpuz are reporting stock 2Ghz. I’ve tried using default BIOS settings (Which then said the CPU was 1 GHz (Vista said 2 GHz) I’ve also tried resetting the CMOS

try starting the overclock from scratch and then save and load into windows.

I have had this before, it was basically a way of the cpu telling me it didnt like the overclock, try upping the volts just a little when you set it up again. I know it has been running a few months and what not but it can happen
