CPU overclocking - what games will I see a difference

For technical reasons Ive had to go back to 2.66 CPU speed.

And TBH I can't really tell much of a difference :confused:

Whats a good game to test - Ive got most the 'biggies' - GTA4 / Lost Planet 2 / BFBC 2 etc - they all still seem to be running just as well.

Btw I run at 1920*1080, highest settings.

P.S Metro is the only game the I really have to turn the settings down , overclocked or not !!

BC2 would be the only 1 where there's a great benefit, I think.

I remember doing a comparison a while back and the difference was negligble.

However, my mind may be playing tricks on me, will give it another bash

Benchmark isnt running AI for the most part. Play the proper game and get chased by a load of cops for a good performance test. Basically make it a war zone to test fps.

Overclocking the CPU up to around 4 Ghz really helps with SLI or crossfire as it reduces the CPU bottleneck, but I think in single graphics cards situaltions it wont make as muh difference.
