Hi

I'm not too sure what CPU PLL is. I remember that with my E6600 I was struggling to get 3.5GHz stable, and I dropped the PLL by a notch and it magically worked when it wouldn't even post before, however one more notch and it wouldn't post again  I was happy so locked down the BIOS settings lol.

When you have found your 24/7 stable overclock and you have lowered your Vcore as much as you can, Is it good to reduce your PLL as much as you can or does this cause problems that I haven't considered?

Should I consider overvolting PLL? are there any gains here? (Ivy specific)

Thanks

PLL is power to the processors Phase Lock loop. Ivy when overclocked actually usually prefer slightly lower values then default. Reduce it and try with stress testing as you would with any change to voltages. Its stable try again.
