Hey everyone. First post here, and apologies in advance if this is in the wrong section.

I've just bought a Corsair 780T and have a semi-modular PSU where the CPU and main motherboard cables are already attached, however the CPU power cable is too short and won't reach the motherboard socket.

Any help would be great.

Thanks guys. I've built quite a few machines before, but this is the first in a long while. So it has to be EPS I take it? I already bought a BitFenix 45cm 8-Pin PCIe Extension Cable but the pins were different, so I put it in storage.

You can use the PCIe extension/s for video card/s.

For the CPU, has to be EPS12v, yes. Either 8 pin or 4+4 pin. There are EPS 4 pin too, for CPU power on some budget motherboards.
