CPU prices

Anyone worried about dropping serious cash on X99 shouldn't worry, I dropped around £600 on a PII 450 when they first came out....and that wasn't too much later than my Dad's uber expensive P200.

I consider my 4790k an absolute bargain, especially considering the stagnation caused by lack of competition plus shrinking difficulties.

So we shouldn't worry about spending more on a CPU because the market is stagnated?

Well, no, because unless you are upgrading pointlessly all is well. Sit on your CPU until cost/perf is worth it.
