CPU Problem

Hello Overclockers,

I bought a PC off here in september it came with a Intel i3 530 @ 4.20ghz but today i reformatted my computer and messed about with Easytune and smart and its gone back to its original 2.9ghz how do i change it back,

Mmm that all depends if you have completely lost the settings you have a lot of reading to do to learn how to overclock. It may not be as drastic as that though if you have a look in your Bios settings there may be an option something like "Load CMOS from Bios" if there is then Overclockers should have saved the overclocked settings in there and you can just reload them. However, (a) I don't know if Overclockers do this although it would be dumb of them not to and (b) I don't know if it is something all motherboards support and you haven't told us any useful information about your hardware so we can help you i.e. what motherboard make/model you have.
 
Not 100% sure but your motherboard may be able to save a profile in the BIOS, pop in there and press F12 I think!
(Have a look at the bottom of the screen it should mention F12 - Load CMOS from BIOS)
