CPU running at 100% due to CCAPP.EXE???

Just wondering if anyone else has had experience of this issue...

My pc's processor runs at 100% because of CCAPP.EXE which is an integral part of Norton Internet Security (and yes I know it's a resource hog etc) but it should not be using 100% of my CPU's capacity but here's the thing. It only happens when I use Windows Remote Desktop to connect to my home pc from work.

If you end the process, you kill Norton. Sure my CPU usage drops back to negligible levels but then so does my security and AV.

Does anyone know why this might be happening?

In case it's relevant, I'm running XP Pro, SP2 fully patched.

Hiya,
I have exactly the same. But what i have noticed is that it will only do it if the Remote Desktop session is the first logon after a reboot. Try rebooting the target workstation, log on normally and then later try logging on through remote desktop.
Hope that helps
