cpu running to hot.

My cpu is running at 45 no OC i have a big fan that connects onto the side pannel blowing directly at the cpu now and it does not seem to of made a difference to temps.

I installed it few days ago its the pentium dual core e2200 my mate who fitted it said he didnt think the heat compound looked enough to keep it properly cooled.

try reseating the cpu heatsink and using arctic silver 5.
also have you tried having the big fan on your side panel the other way around and exhausting the hot air out, always worth a try both ways and comparing

What are your full load temps, and what software are you using to monitor temps.
Try Core temp or real temp.
