cpu safe voltage

just stress testing it then im gonna bump to 1.400 and no further i think

im at 1.400 and at 3.19 ghz is it safe if the temps are under 60 and pushing the volts more

Since your using the H50 its going to help the cooling a lot. I would go no higher than 1.45v personally. I just do not think the longevity of the chip will hold with that much voltage over the years.

Id think you could achieve 3.4 - 3.6ghz @ 1.45v. ??

McT

yeah im having problems getting past 3.20 ghz without bumping the voltage but if i bump it further it wont be much and will changing cpu clock vs memory speed help and im only going to be having the chip maybe a year or 2 tops

ive clocked it back down to 3ghz as the voltage bump i didnt think was worth it for the small performance gain im at 1.350 volts and system all stable and cool full load in the 40 s
