solid! would get the standard 1700 chip and not the X and overclock yourself

one thing is ram, 2400hz will hurt the performance of Ryzen, so you'll have to look at if you can overclock it to 3000hz! or get new ! should get healthy return on your old system

If you really want to stream well though- 2nd PC system and if wanting to stream consoles, slap in a streaming/recording card
 
Cheers guys! All ordered up. And I'll have a look into whether or not I can clock up the RAM once I get everything set up, but if it all works well from scratch then I'll stick with it. Not really experienced with overclocking so don't want to mess with my partner's business too much by fiddling around with a working PC and breaking it.

No room (or real need) for a second PC though. It already works great, this is just to help it a little on the way because StreamElements causes choppiness on occasion. She streams her artwork more than any high spec gaming, so no biggie.
