Hey guys, I ain't got long and so need to get this sorted ASAP, I am after a whole new PC, I have decided on a Core 2 Duo E6400 CPU but have no idea on motherboard or RAM, I also need a bit of advice graphics wise.

I would like 2gb of RAM and a mobo that can take 4 SATA HDDs, I am also planning on OCing, so I need a decent HSF (I understand that the Coolermaster is well liked by Custom PC, I cannot remember the model I need however). Finally I already own a 7900GT, so this leads me to the quandary of getting a motherboard that supports SLi and sticking in another 7900GT or replacing it with something else if no SLi boards are available?

Thought I have a budget of about £500, obviously less if possible, but I could go for a bit more if needed.

Any thoughts would be most helpful?

The new Asus P5N-E sli boards should be an interesting board for you, at the moment it doesn't seem to be stocked by that many retailers but hopefully this will change shortly. If it will stay round the £70-80 mark it will sure be a very tempting board to get hold of.

i'm waiting for this board myself :D

was going to go for the Asus P5B-Deluxe at £123 but if the P5N-E comes out at around £80 then i'll spend the extra to upgrade from an E6300 to an E6400

I was thinking of using the saved ££ to get some better quality RAM :) as long as i can fit it in my budget that the wife set.

Really hope the board starts to show up on OCuk soon!
