CPU speed changing after OC?

Hello,

Cpu speed on cpuid changing from 4.3 (my default OC) to 1600, 1800, 2400 and other. Its all over the place. Why not stay stable at 4.3?

Perfectly normal. So don't worry about it. It won't affect your performance.

So i'll keep my speedstep on as its not causing any problems and can save electricity and such, making my system green. Thanks

Ah man thats well complex. I feel its better to let it draw as much power as needed. Not constantly same speed. Thats dumb. Its like having a car constantly in high gear...

That's a terrible analogy. It's more like not driving everywhere at a car's maximum speed.

Rather pointless and just a waste of electricity and heat.

Would advise keeping speedstep on.

Terrible advice. With speedstep disabled, it will generate more heat use more power and possibly lower the life span of the chip.
