CPU Speed Comparison Site?

Hello,

Does anybody know of a good website that actually details the performance of CPUs?

What AMD and Intel naming their products with whatever numbers they feel like it would be nice to know how each CPU compares to the next.

i.e. some have the same clock speed but not necessarily the same performance etc

My fave is at Tom's hardware http://tomshardware.co.uk/ . Click CPU Charts on the right hand side.

Also check out the vga charts there, but they have been Nvidia biased for a while now since they made a deal so take with a pinch of salt.

Tom's Hardware Guide. You can select from about 20 different benchmarks. Only trouble is that it doesn't include Conroe yet.

Yeah just taken a look... that's kinda what I was looking to compare with as I wanted to see how much of a improvement an E6300 would make on my ageing A64 3000+

I guess it's just a matter of time!

I don't have any personal experience but from what people have been saying on here it would rip it to shreds. But as I say I really don't know myself so you're prob best off finding some figures.
