Just want to make sure all seems OK with my new build.
Stock 3570k.
After 30 mins of Prime95 In Place Large FFTs the four cores measure between 58 and 65C in Realtemp.

Does this seem OK?
Cooler is a Black Megahalem with two 120mm fans.

Idle temps are between 23 and 28C across the cores.
i assume it is normal for each core to register a slightly different temp?

I would have expected slightly better temps tbh, though those temps aren't too suprising. It is normal for the cores to register different temps yes, my highest was always about 4-5c above the others with near perfect application of TIM.

What is the voltage of your chip?

Congrats on the megahalems, is so gorgeous. :D

Oh btw, love your prairie dog pictures :D.

Tbh, not sure what voltage as I left all motherboard settings as default/auto.
I'll have a closer look tomorrow and see what it is running at.
Just wasn't sure what to set everything at with the newer Core series CPUs.
Now it jas run Ok for a couple of weeks might look at starting to fin tune the settings manually.

Thanks, the baby Prairie Dog is quite cute isn't it?

They are so cute, I love animals like that. :D

HWMonitor is the best tool I found for reading voltages from my 3570K and Gigabyte board. For stock it shouldnt be going over 1.20V at load unless you got a juicy chip. Mine was happy with 1.16V at stock. I use RealTemp also.

HWMonitor says 1.07v at idle and between 24 and 31C across the 4 four cores.
