Quick question, Im getting different temps from my [email protected],volts1.4, Ntune and my BIOS says im idle at 35-38c and always has but i read that coretemp is the most accurate so i got the latest version and took a look and it reads 25-30c, i know its not hugely important but its a fairly big difference and im wondering which one is most accurate. Im instaling an opty170 this week and be nice to know which is best. come on coretemp :D

Core temp seems to be the most accurate one. What is your load temp like? And what cooling are you on? Those single core opterons aren't too hot :)

Thanks for the reply but ive got my dual-core opty 170 in now and it seems to have evened out, theres still a slight difference but very small. Im at 2.9gig and at idle with core temp core 0= 31-34 and core 1= 29-31. Im very happy, ive only had it in an hour or so and i havent even had to raise the voltage. I expect the temps to drop a little more when the AS5 has settled. :D
