When i first put my system together i noticed that my onboard diagnostic display on my epox motherboard was displaying the temperature of my cpu once it had booted into windows. i thought, wow thats cool! Anyways a week later after many changes i look at the display and all it says is "FF" which is has done ever since.

I was wondering if anyone knows what u have to do to get it showing the cpus temp again? or was i just imagining the whole thing?

Failing that is it possible to put a small lcd display behind the case window that would show the temp?

Install the monitoring software that comes on the cd.When this is running in the background It will display the temp on the onboard display.

Cant remember what its called but its on the driver cd that came with your mobo.

I thought it must be something like that. i did a complete re-install of windows and got the updated software (thunderprobe) from the epox website, i'll give the old software a go when i get home though cheers.
