Cpu temp too low !!!

I am about to do my first overclock (cpu = amd anthlon x2 240) and was doing an initial stress test with Prime 95. Temp only rose to 25 C (using coretemp 0.99.5), 12 C when idle.

This cant be right, have reinstalled coretemp to no avail.

In bios, temp is 27 C idle but i need to know temp under full load.
Os is windows 7.

Any advice would be most appreciated.

try get a newest HWMonitor or Realtemp to have a look, its just maybe software problem

Your BIOS temp is right, core temp is using diff TJ max so the temp it shows might be 10 or 15c lower than it actually is.

Can i change it from diff TJ max to actual temp or can you work it out?

Realtemp wount work with amd, 0.99.5 is latest.

real temp top menu > options > adjust offsets
set to +10/15 or w/e
