Ok at the moment i have clocked my cpu at 3 ~ 3.2ghz and on full load the temp is at about 43c. Now i was wondering if this is too high and i should really leave it alone from here on. My setup is in my sig .. seems pretty high to me  .

Nothing at all wrong with that temp aslong as the reading is taken from the cpu (intelTAT/coretemp) and not the motherboard sensor(PCprobe/mbm5/speedfan).

Yeah, those temps are fine - you definitely have headroom for a higher clock there. I'm at 55c load with my e6600 at 3.6 and it's rock solid. I've done two lots of orthos 12 hour testing and not one error :D

Really ... well then bring on some more overclocking lol. Im doing it really slowly tho, i will get back some more temp readings and ask some more questions lol. Hopefully get 3.6 - thats my target, am not going to pass it and dont really want to tbh.

Edit: Oh and dont worry its using the croetemp checker. I may be new but im not silly :P.
