CPU Temp

Ok at the moment i have clocked my cpu at 3 ~ 3.2ghz and on full load the temp is at about 43c. Now i was wondering if this is too high and i should really leave it alone from here on. My setup is in my sig .. seems pretty high to me .

Nothing at all wrong with that temp aslong as the reading is taken from the cpu (intelTAT/coretemp) and not the motherboard sensor(PCprobe/mbm5/speedfan).

thats low temp. 55-60 is average load temps going by what other ppl have posted

Yeah, those temps are fine - you definitely have headroom for a higher clock there. I'm at 55c load with my e6600 at 3.6 and it's rock solid. I've done two lots of orthos 12 hour testing and not one error

Really ... well then bring on some more overclocking lol. Im doing it really slowly tho, i will get back some more temp readings and ask some more questions lol. Hopefully get 3.6 - thats my target, am not going to pass it and dont really want to tbh.

Edit: Oh and dont worry its using the croetemp checker. I may be new but im not silly .
