Hi all,

I'm hoping you could help with a problem, please. Here's a quick hardware list:

Gigabyte GA-Z68AP-D3 mobo
i5 2500k @ 3.4 GHz
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 CPU cooler
8GB RAM
Radeon R9 Fury X graphics card

This setup has run without issue for almost a year now (Win 10-64).

A recent problem with laggy games (probably due to a dodgy AMD graphics driver) led me to poke around a bit. It seems all four of my CPU cores idle at around 55 degrees and a few minutes gaming has them jumping to 97 degrees.

The CPU cooler fan rotates nicely and the cooler seems securely attached to the processor.

Are temps like this normal?
