Yesterday I changed my closed loop cooler stock fans after the noise just became too much during gaming sessions.

Fitted two new new two Noctua NF-S12B REDUX 700RPM 120mm Quiet Case Fan which im so impressed with the noise levels are amazing I didn't expect such great results.

Unfortunately I got a little too excited when they arrived and just installed them straight away so I totally forgot to log the cpu temps with old fans installed.

The thing im concerned about is there aint much blowing out with these not much power etc where was the old ones were very power and used to in a way cool my hand when I checked.

After playing CSGO for 2hrs straight last night my cpu temp was 59o this temp seem fine? Running an fx8150 and both fans are blowing out!

What AIO are they on?

NF-S12's are meant to be open air case fans, they are not designed for for static pressure/radiators.It wouldnt suprise me if they perform worse than the fans you replaced them for.

Its the Noctua F12-pwm fans you want for a radiator :D

AWWW man don't say that zzzzzz

I just jumped into them as the had the lowest decibel rating, you think the temp difference would be that great degree wise? performace wise I didn't buy them for that I bought them for noise levels.

Honestly the stock fans were ridiculously loud!

Certain that you will get higher temperatures than with stock fans,as that noctua model has minimal static pressure(0.64 at 100%)

Keep an eye on the temps tho in CPU intensive games/apps.Also make sure they are always running at 100%,they might be suffecient for long term use if you arnt ocing much.

Heres some good and queit rad fans that are dirt cheap atm

YOUR BASKET
1 x Akasa AK-FN057 Apache Super Silent 120mm Fan - 4 Pin PWM £6.66
Total : £8.94 (includes shipping : £1.90 Ex.VAT).

I will run some tests tonight see what temps are at, really hope there upto it as the noise levels is amazing is there a way to check fan speeds etc? running a sabretooth 990fx board
