not sure if i should worry or not but my cpu temps seem a little odd.

i've noticed
Core 0 = 37deg
and
Core 1 = 21deg

this has been shown in Real Temps, Speed Fan and core temps.
is it something to worry about or should i ignore it?

Yeah I'd definitely reseat the cooler, 2 things spring to mind 1) the pin/s on one side of the socket are not securely engaged leading to uneven presure or 2) bad thermal paste distribution leading to poor contact at one side.

Do the temps equalise under load?

Noticed with my 8400 that this does happen , although the temp differenc to begin with is only 3c .

Your 16c difference is the worst I've ever read about - mishapen surface ?

i have reseated the cpu and thermal paste etc and all were fine.

my motherboard though doesn't. when i removed the cpu there looks like a pin has been moved slightly. it's not bent or anything just doesn't look right like the others!!!

computer runs fine though so should i really worry or go and buy a new mobo?
