My new Sandybridge i7 (see signature) seems to be running hot - 45 degrees at idle, going up to 60 at least under load playing games. This seems to hot to me :(

Anyone have any experience of this? Cheers :)
 
I've got an Arctic Cooler 7 from my Conroe, I may fit that instead, looking at it it appears to be the same to fit.

I'm not satisfied with those temperatures to be honest. I even suspect now in the cold light of day that maybe I didnt fit the stock cooler quite right right, though iirc all you have to do is push the clips in ... :confused:
