Cpu temps

So I know what I'm doing isn't strictly correct.

I'm running a Xeon Server CPU in a Asus Sabertooth x58 mobo...
Its running smooth and got a nice OC to 4GHz with 1.325 volts.
I have a Corsair H80 on it.

So far it seems fine, but I'm a little concerned about the temps.
So when idling I get about 20c, but then as soon as I run Prime95 or IBT it jumps to about 50c which is fine, but only takes about 10seconds.

As soon as I stop IBT or Prime95 the temps drop back down to around 20c within like 5seconds.
Is that the correct functionality, will it cool so quick?
I know the H80 is water but really?!

Or is the Sabertooth not picking up the Xeon too well?

That sounds about fine, cpu temps can drop very fast when they come off load , my phenom 2 comes from about 47 to 25 in about 10 secs and that's with a mid range air cooler so your temps sounds fine

Temps are fine, mine literally go from low 20's to 50'-60's in seconds when starting prime95 and as quick back down when prime is stopped.

Ok sweet.

Thanks for the replies :)
I've just moved from an old AMD to Intel, and first time properly overclocking...
So I was just a bit worried.

Seems all good tho, so I'm stocked :)
