I've got an i7-950 in box, looks like new. Bought motherboard, put all together lunched.... nothing.... Double-checked all again.... nothing.... Contacted motherboard's manufacturer they requested mobo for expertise and after a week issued a refund without confirmation of fault. Now my budget is low to buy new motherboard for experiments, and I want to check if my CPU is working good. Most of those computer repair services are wondering if this CPU is existing (even after so long time  ) but maybe someone here could advice me a professional service, where they could test it?

Yeah... As I mentioned before, I've checked my local services and they were surprised to hear about this CPU and even in PC World couldn't help me.
If someone could test it for a reasonable reward, would be great! Another reason I don’t want to buy a mobo - there is still chance to get another faulty card again (I’ve got luck with that :().

Please take this with the utmost respect as i mean no disrespect but you will find it difficult to get someone to test such and exspensive CPU for you will such a low post count to back you up.

Maybe overclockers UK will test it for you for a fee?

Just my thoughts

He'd have to pay postage so it wouldnt be free, but not a bad idea. Cant hurt to ask in the customer services section.
