cpu timings differnt on vista

i hav clocked my cpu 2 3.2ghz but in vista it says its 3.6 :S does any1 know y?

Have you dropped the multi to x8? If so vista is probably calculating on a x9 multi which would give you 3.6

yea my multi is x8 o so i take vist wont realise and asume 3.6 lol bit poo aint it haha

Yeah it doesn't seem to use the real multi and just takes the chips max or something along those lines

yea my chip dose the same any program in vista other than things like cpu-z get the wrong clock speed most tend to go for the chips highest or lowest multi of the chip
