Just run intel burn test, done 5 passes and my amd phenom x2 550 at stock settings tops out at 60 degrees. Does this not sound a little hot for a titan fen rear cooler?

Thanks chaps

that does sounds a little hot, how many fans are you running on the titan? are they working in push pull?
is the Heatsink seated correctly,
i've just tried IBT on my rig and even with a arctic freezer pro 7 temps only hit 52c after 5 passes

Odd, i find the x2 550 a very cool chip with water cooling i get it under 30c load...
Maybe try a remount with the correct amount of thermal paste.

correct amount of thermal paste.
How much tim, blob the size of a pea in centre or thin strip in centre for dual and quad?. Is it best to spread the paste yourself or let the heatsink/block spread it?. Just curious, i like to test what everyone else does.

thanks very much for all your advice guys. Im going to try and remount it today. Hopefully that will solve my problem. Thanks again ;)
