Hey Guys,
Stupidy enough i got the wrong e6600 processor for my motherboard.
My board supports the core 2 duo version but not the pentium dual core version.
When i load up my machine i recieve this error.
I get a boot failure with the message that overclock/overvoltage failed, cpu ucode error.
But i can run it in like safe defaults and it works but really slow.
Is there anyway to maybe flash the BIOS with an upgraded version to fix this problem or am i going to need to get the right processor.
ASUS P5L-VM 1394 motherboard.
cheers
Nick
