CPU Upgrade for 680i

Is it worthwhile upgrading from a e6600 @3.6Ghz to one of the new e8500 CPUs?

I'm using Dominator 800FSB ram which can do 1000Mhz @ 5-5-5-15

would i see a beneficial performance increase?

I'm just about to go SLi with a second 8800GTX, and wish to minimise CPU bottleneck.

any tips?

It's the BFG A2

I think all 680is support Wolfdale, a friend has a rev 1 evga and that supports it, and i'm on the p32 bios (latest)

so, assuming it works, what's the recommendation?

Thanks for the info - are they really clock for clock faster? I didnt realise this..... and if only i could find one anywhere!!??
