CPU Upgrade Question

Hi there
Going from a single-core to a dual-core, apart from just switching CPU's is there anything else I should be aware of ??

Will the motherboard BIOS recognise the dual-core and adjust accordingly.
Apart from ensuring that I have the latest video card drivers that account for dual-core CPU's, is there any other software that I should install ??

I am running AMD64's and going from 4000+ to FX-60

Nothing really. You might have to do the dual core fix for games. Having said that I didt have to. Might need a bios update but you can check that before switchin. Why an fx60? Why not something cheaper and overclock. My 165 does 2.7Ghz.

If you have stuttering problems in games yes otherwise no need really. I havenet had any issues since installation. Popped the chip in and rebooted and that was it. No hot fix's or anything.
