CPU upgrade socket 1155

Hi, im looking to upgrade my pc to handle newer games.

These are the current specs I have.

Im thinking that upgrading the CPU would be best, Im not too keen on changing the motherboard so if anyone can recommend a socket 1155 CPU I would appreciate it.

Thanks for the reply, ive never got into overclocking but ill do some research now.

Could I see a big improvement from a gpu upgrade for around £300?
