currently have a Pentium 4 530J 1mb 3.0ghz clocked at 3.6ghz .

is it really worth forking out a couple of hundred quid for a 660 3.6ghz 64-bit 2mb one?? wont the overclock i have eliminate any bottlenecks?
 
Not in the least.

What bottle necks are experiencing? If it's games your playing then the GPU is the biggest factor as your CPU is running at a decent speed.
 
if you got some money to spend, work on improving your current overclock.

If you could post details of all your components then we can go from there.
