CPU Usage 100%

HM just ran an event log for around 15 mins gameplay of UT3 and my cpu shows 100% usage on both cores for most of the time Is this right

I would have thought not.Try task manager while running the game to see what using the CPU.

Yup did system manager and its definitely just UT3 Taking up all that cpu usage. Wow that game likes its resources dont it. Only uses about a gig of ram though

yeah its normal, my quad goes fairly high about 60/67%

Any Unreal 3 engine game that I run tends to put my Q6600 at around 50-70% on all cores, so it seems to be pretty normal.

Might reinstall UT3 to see how much CPU usage it would use on a I7 @4.2
though i think it only used 2 cores of a I7 lol going from that new game demolition its based on the UT3 engine i think.
